Ray LaHood Not Supporting NTSB Cellphone Ban on Hands-Free Systems
It seems that the National Transportation Safety Board’s push for an all-out ban on cellphone use –
including hands-free systems – behind the wheel has met its biggest match. Secretary of Transportation
Ray LaHood has just recently announced that he won’t side with the Board’s proposal to prohibit drivers
from using mobile phones and similar portable communication devices while taking to the road.
